Gröna Bandet - First Aid Kit
A good first aid kit is always important when traveling in the backcountry. Just as important as having one is knowing what you have and how to use it. Carrying a bunch of first aid gear without knowing how to use it won't help you in a emergency.
On this two month hike we will carry one basic first aid kit for the two of us.
In our kit we have:
- Elastic bandage
- Leukoplast
- Alco gel
- Ibuprofen
- Sports tape
- Different sizes of plaster
- Blister pads
- Burn gel
- Steri strips
- A first aid field guide
- Imodium
- Rehydration pills
- Space blanket
The Imodium and rehydration pills is not showed in the picture but we'll add them later on.
With this small first aid kit we are able to take care of ourselvs and each other without carrying to much weight.
